Tank Inspections
By conducting regular inspections, early detection of any potential tank failures avoids the risk of operational impact, damage to facilities, staff or the environment.
The American Petroleum Institute (API) Standard 653 is the most commonly guide used which “provides minimum requirements for maintaining the integrity of such tanks after they have been placed in service and addresses inspection, repair, alteration, relocation, and reconstruction.”
Our inspectors have the necessary experience and are appropriately licensed and qualified.

TICS also has specialised equipment which introduces advanced technology to increase accuracy whilst simultaneously reducing risk and cost to the client. Some advanced inspection methods include:
- Phased-Array Ultrasonic Testing
- Eddy Current Array Testing
- Magnetic Field Leak Testing
